An Unexpected Incident

Ok...ok... I noe.. It's

LAME!!!

Ok lah... Wateva... Let's get to the point..

When I was in my sch time,

I've always thought that we, S'porean, are friendly, kind,

courteous & all the gd stuff in the world...

But as time goes by,

I realise that we don exactly practice this...

Izzit bcoz we r selfish? Or we couldn't care less?

Hmmm...

I think we r... Or mayb not exactly...

In my opinion, we, young S'poreans, r juz too bz wif our own life that we didn't see wats happenin arnd us... Its not like we don't bother, its juz that we didn' notice..

For example; somethin happened to me yesterday...

And I really want to share wif u guyz...

So the story begins....

I was wif my dear cousin, Fanah, & her bf, Shaik, yesterday at P.S...

She wanted to deposit coins at DBS but as usual it nvr works when we really need it...

So bein the gd & thoughtful cousin I am...ehhemm...

I volunteered to change it into cash for her at my work plc(fast food outlet)

which is not far frm the bank...

So as we enter my store, me, bein the blur me, was happily talkin while carryin the plastic full of coins wif my left hand when all of a sudden the plastic juz burst open...

I was so shocked to see the coins was everywhere on the floor

(u shld see the look on our face!!! Hilarious!hahaha!!!)...

It's like one of the nightmares came true...

Ther was like a minute of silence in the store wif everyone & I mean EVERYONE!!, even my colleagues, were lookin down...

After recoverin frm the shock, the 3 of us starts to pick up the coins...

It happened so fast... A few group of customers suddenly stood up and join us pickin up the coins... On the other hand, as we were pickin up the coins, me & my cousin were laughin hysterically embarrassed for wat had happened... But on the same time, I was speechless & touched by their thoughtful gestures & helpin hands... I thanked them profusely...

Thinkin abt it juz makes me smile for 2 different reason...

Firstly, coz of silly old clumsy me...

Secondly is bcoz their small kind gesture juz impressed me. And I'm proud of this groups of young S'porean. We r still gd citizen of S'pore...

Once again, I would like to thank them...
